Custom Content

While all available items and tools on ReforgeMC are vanilla, many of them have special and unique elements. Please read below for a few of the most important ones!

Tool and Armor Abilities

Please note that armor abilities only activate when a full set of the respective armor is worn.

Wooden tools - Wooden tools have a high chance to double drop applicable materials.
Stone tools - Stone tools have a small chance to drop additional coal.
Iron tools - Iron tools have a small chance to automatically smelt stone, sand, and ores.
Gold tools - Gold tools have a high chance to drop additional enchanting experience.
Diamond tools - Diamond tools have a small chance to heal durability, rather than lose it.

Full leather armor - Player move speed is faster. Full gold armor - Enemy monsters will ignore the player until provoked.

Custom Drops

In addition to special abilities, different blocks have a chance to drop special items. This is not a comprehensive list! There are many rare and valuable drops to discover. Below are a few examples of more common drops you may notice.

Extra experience - Given the difficult mechanics behind enchanting in 1.2.5, common materials, ores, enemies, and farm animals have a chance to drop additional experience.

Embedded materials - You may find natural materials dropping additional items, from bones and slimeballs to diamonds and spawn eggs. Quick tip: Underground materials (stone, ores) have higher drop chances the deeper you go, while farmables (trees, crops, farm animals) have higher drop chances the higher you go. Dirt, sand, gravel, and other soft materials maintain the same drop chances throughout the world’s heights. TLDR; Build your farms high and your mines low!

Be careful! - While the rewards are greater, the danger is too in ReforgeMC. Be on the lookout for gaseous explosions deep underground, silverfish infestations, and special bosses like Giants and Slime Raids!

Special interactions - While the previous bullet points were not comprehensive, please refer to the list below for a guide to all special interactions.

Coal ore: right-click with gunpowder below y16 to detonate a large area
Bookshelf: right-click to take books out of shelf
Crops: destroy with hoe for a chance to auto-replant. higher-tier hoes have a higher chance
