Getting Started

In addition to the commands and features listed here, be aware that our community is based on the ReforgeMC Discord, where you can ask for help, talk with others, and get access to other links, such as the ReforgeMC Dynmap and the 1.2.5 Quality of Life modpack!

1. Read the Player Agreement

ReforgeMC has a small list of very important guidelines for maintaining a friendly and fun experience for all players! They are available at any time in-game by typing /agreement.

By joining ReforgeMC, you agree to the following:

I will use my best judgement to not upset our community.
I will keep my use of chat appropriate and friendly.
I will not scam or exploit our community.

Staff will use their best discretion to handle transgressions on a case-by-case basis!

2. Stake Your Claim

Once you’ve read the rules, you’re ready to explore the world! The main ReforgeMC world is a sprawling 2500*2500 map. The choice is yours on where you want to settle, but you can quickly reach different parts of the map by befriending players and requesting to teleport to them. Once you’re ready to protect a region, place down a Lapis Lazuli block to claim a 21*21 region! You’ll be able to access larger and more powerful claims as you rank up.

3. Get to Work!

Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to start leveling up! Each player is automatically a level 1 member of each of the four Jobs, allowing you to choose how you spend your time leveling each of them up! Level up by accomplishing and repeating job-specific tasks, granting you special access to perks as you hit certain checkpoints.

4. Ranking Up

After fulfilling the requirements to rank up, you may submit a rankup application through our Discord! Here, you will submit screenshots of your structures and a staff member will verify that you’ve achieved the required credentials to rank up.
